Oooh! Can't wait for tomorrow night's read-a-thon! When the last book came out, we went outside after havdallah, at on the lawn, ate ice cream and read and read. How fun to do that again (with SCD frozen yogurt....And plus one more child....)
We walked our Shabbat dinner guest home on Friday night, passing through all the hoopla in Coolidge Corner on the way to and from her apartment.
It was around 11:30 PM, and the air was thick with excitement. I think the adults were having the most fun. There were plenty of kids costumed and slowly waving glow-sticks, eyes drooping.
It was fun to walk through it all.
I hope HP7 lives up to everyones fondest expectations.

"Potterpalooza" sounded very fun! How odd that the local party here started at 4, so there was plenty of time to attend and be home before Shabbat!
We're about 550 pages through. PB is listening attentively to the whole thing. No nightmares yet....
